Bob Jackson
Promotions Coordinator/Web Manager
Bob Jackson serves as the Mules and Jennies Promotions Coordinator and Web Manager. He is also part of the broadcast team on the Central Missouri Sports Radio Network. In addition, Jackson coordinates the advertising sales for UCM’s football and basketball game programs.
Jackson has been employed at The University of Central Missouri since 1999, but has been involved with the University’s athletic department since September of 1981.
He came to Warrensburg in 1981 to serve as sports director at KOKO Radio. There he was the play-by-play voice of Mules football, basketball, and baseball and for Jennies basketball, a position he filled until joining the staff at UCM in 1999.
Prior to assuming his role at KOKO, Jackson was sports director at KWOS Radio in Jefferson City from 1976-81, where he provided play-by-play for Lincoln University football and basketball.
Jackson’s wife, Sherri, is employed with the Warrensburg School District. They have two daughters, Cassie (19) and Jamie (15). Cassie is a sophomore at UCM while Jamie is a sophomore at Warrensburg High School.
