Mules fourth at MWSU Invite
The Central Missouri Mules shot a 596 at the Missouri Western Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, finishing fourth overall. Ty Needels and Matt Miller tied for 11th with two-round scores of 147 (par 144).
The Mules got started with a 299 on day one before carding a 297 in the final round. Washburn scored a couple 284’s to capture the title while Missouri Southern grabbed second (581) and host Missouri Western was in third at 583. The individual champion was Matt Lazzo of Washburn with a six-under 138.
