Mules second at NCAA-II Central Regional
The Mules finished in second place at the NCAA-II Central Regional as play concluded Wednesday in Findlay, Ohio.
The Mules fashioned the best team score (291) of the final round as Stefan Ballage, Matt Miller, and Ty Needels all fired even par 72 over the final 18 holes. UCM finished 13 strokes behind team champion Washburn, and had a 10 stroke advantage over third place Missouri Western. Mules finish second at MIAA Championship
Mules finished in second place at the 2008 MIAA Championship in Branson, Mo., on Tuesday. Washburn captured the team title by 17 strokes, with the Mules finishing in front of Missouri Southern in the battle for second. Justin Yoder tied for the individual championship, but lost on the first hole of a playoff, and Ty Needels tied for seventh place. Both Yoder and Needels are All-MIAA as a result of their finish. Mules finish second in Heart of America Classic
The Mules had to settle for a second place finish at the Heart of America Classic at Keth Memorial Golf Course.
