Lindsey Maple selected to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American Team

Lindsey Maple recognized by ESPN The Magazine
Central Missouri Jennies senior guard Lindsey Maple was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Third-Team College Division.
Maple, from Knob Noster, Mo., has a 3.98 GPA as a physical education major. She was ranked second in Division II free throw accuracy through games of Feb. 24 (91.8 percent) and leads UCM averaging 17.6 points per game. Maple is also in seventh place on UCM’s all-time scoring list with 1,509 points. Her current career free throw percentage of .863 ranks first all-time in Central Missouri history.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at his/her current institution and be nominated by his/her sports information director. College Division consists of all schools not members of NCAA Division I.
