Jennies beat up on Evangel with
career high performances

Jojuana Jones scored a career high 20 points, one of four Jennies to post career high numbers
The Central Missouri Jennies had four players in double figures on Saturday afternoon as they defeated Evangel 87-67 at the Multipurpose Building, evening their record at 2-2.
The Jennies jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. UCM scored the first five point and 16 of the first 22 to jump out to an early 10 point lead. Evangel cut the lead to four before UCM went on a 17-6 run to open a 15 point lead with just over six minutes to play in the half. The Jennies closed the half on 16-4 run for a 51-30 halftime advantage. Lindsey Maple scored 20 of her career-high 29 in the first half and Jojuana Jones equaled her career-high with 16 in the opening stanza.
The second half saw much of the same action with the lead growing to as much as 24 at 59-35. The Crusaders whittled the lead to 13 a couple of times, but the Jennies outscored Evangel 18-11 the rest of the way for the 87-67 win.
Along with Maple’s career-high 29 the Jennies also got career-highs from Jones and Dominica Blakemore, 20 and 14 points, respectively. Deidra Dace also added 11 points. Stephenie Cook also had career highs in rebounds and assists with seven each.
