Pre-game event on tap for Mules game at Sprint Center
The No. 5 University of Central Missouri Mules basketball team will battle Rockhurst on Tuesday at Kansas City’s Sprint Center at 2:30 p.m. as a part of the O’Reilly Auto Parts/CBE Classic.
There will be a pregame event hosted by UCM Alumni Relations at McFadden’s Sports Saloon, 1330 Grand Blvd. in the Power and Light District. Fans, alumni and friends are invited to the event from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Heavy appetizers and a cash bar will be available, with Alumni Relations bringing "spirit" goodies to hand out including pom-poms, red foam sticks and beads.
Fans can attend the game free of charge, but tickets must be picked up at the ticket office window before entering the arena. All seats will be considered general admission.
Central Missouri will broadcast the game on KOKO 1450, 98.5 The BAR, and 90.9 KTBG (game only), as well as www.warrensburgradio.com.
Following the Mules-Hawks game, the Sprint Center will play host to the O’Reilly Auto Parts/CBE Classic consolation and championship games. The consolation game will start at 6:45 p.m. (CDT) with the championship game following. Texas, Pittsburgh, Wichita State, and Iowa are the four teams participating. Tickets for that event are on sale through Ticketmaster.com and the Sprint Center Box Office.
