Brad Loos - Assistant Coach
Brad Loos begins his sixth season as an assistant coach for the Mules. He came to Central Missouri as a graduate assistant from Austin Peay State in Clarksville, Tennessee before earning the full-time position here at UCM.
Loos has been instrumental in the success of the Mules during the past six seasons. He has recruited numerous All-MIAA performers including an All-American performer in Michael Hicks.
In 2001, he served as a student assistant coach at Austin Peay after spending four years as a player for the Governors. Brad’s father, Dave Loos, is the head men’s basketball coach and athletic director at Austin Peay, an NCAA Division I member of the Ohio Valley Conference.
Loos was named to the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll four times as a player, and was the top basketball scholar athlete for three years.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Austin Peay in May 2002 with a 3.8 grade-point average in Health and Human Performance.
He received a master’s degree from UCM in sports administration in August 2004. He was married in the summer of 2006 to Jennifer, who was formerly a graduate assistant soccer coach at UCM.
