Before UCM: A first-team all-conference and All-California J.C. honorable mention pick for head coach James Giacomazzi… He helped Cosumnes River to a 23-11 overall mark while averaging 18.5 points per game… He also hit 45 percent from the field and 72 percent from the free throw line as a sophomore… Attended Cimarron High School in Las Vegas, Nev., playing for head coach Steve Boyack… helped his squad to a 23-6 record as a senior and was named the 2007 Nevada State High School Player of the Year, as well as all-conference, alldistrict, and all-state honors after averaging 28.7 points per game.
