Before UCM: Played for head coach Chris Nimmo, earning Most Outstanding Player honors for the West Central Conference as a senior… averaged 16 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds per game in 2007-08 to earn all-state accolades… a three-time all-conference and two-time all-district selection, he also lettered all four years… his assist total ranks him 11th all-time in Missouri history… helped the Tigers claim the 2006 conference title and the 2006 and 2007 district championships… competed in the Kansas-Missouri and MBCA all-star games as well… also a cross-country runner, he grabbed all-state, all-district, and all-conference honors four times on the course.
Personal: Undecided on a major... born August 10, 1989 ... son of Dave and Tammy Slifer... his father, Dave, is the head women’s basketball coach at Central Missouri while his mother, Tammy, serves as an assistant coach… his older sister Brittney is also a member of the Jennies basketball team this season as a senior.
