Coach Anderson says: An athletic wing player that has shown good shooting ability from the perimeter, and can also take it to the basket. He is also a good defender with long arms.

Before UCM: Led Triton to a 29-4 overall record, earning second-team NJCAA-II All-American honors for head coach Steve Christiansen… He averaged 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest to grab All-Region IV accolades and helped his squad to a 10-0 conference title mark… Fuqua also hit 74 percent from the line and 46 percent from the floor… Attended Proviso East High School in Mayfield, Ill., just outside of Chicago, playing for head coach David Chatman… Proviso is the famed high school of NBA stars Doc Rivers, Jim Brewer, Michael Finley, Dee Brown and Shannon Brown... He helped the Pirates to a 27-4 record as a senior, and three consecutive conference titles… He also played with current Kansas State guard Jacob Pullen there.
