Coach Anderson says: Has returned to campus with renewed enthusiasm. A very active inside player who knows how to make other players on our team successful.

As a Sophomore: Played every game but two.... pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds at Missouri Southern (Dec 6)... Started the first seven games of the season... Had at least one rebound in 28 games.

As a Freshman: Played in 27 games, getting his first career start at Fort Hays State (Jan. 23)... averaged 10.4 minutes per game and ranked second on the team in blocks.

In high school: A product of Ozark High School, Oakley played for head coach Steve Hunter… averaged 18.3 points and 9.1 rebounds per game as a senior... he garnered first-team all-conference honors in his final three seasons… a two-time all-state pick, he helped his team to a fourth place finish in Missouri and averaged 16.5 points and 10.1 boards per game as a junior… also earned first-team all-district and all-tournament team honors two years in a row at the Coffeyville and Kaminski Classic tournaments... … led the team with 49 blocks and hit an outstanding 59 percent from the field as a junior... the class five all-state pick was also a McDonald’s All-American Nominee... led the squad to one conference and two district titles and also was a member of the football squad... he earned first-team allconference two times and second-team all-state once as a wide receiver for the two-time conference and district champion football team.

Personal: Criminal Justice major... born August 2, 1988 ... son of Robert Oakley and Laura Coffey.
