Before UCM: Played for head coach Everick Sullivan, earning all-region and was team captain two years... helped the squad to the national tournament and averaged nine points, six assists, and five rebounds per game... attended Taft Technology High School in Cincinnati and played there for head coach Mark Mitchell... earned all-conference as a sophomore, junior and senior while grabbing league MVP honors in his final two seasons... also garnered third-team all-state and second-team all-state in his final two years, winning the conference title both years as well... as a senior, he was a McDonalds All-American nominee and averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals per outing... Street & Smith named him a top five player in Cincinnati... also lettered two seasons for the football squad.
