As a Junior: Played in 32 games... led the team with seven rebounds against Sterling... scored a career-high five points against St. Edward’s (Mar 10) and then matched it with another five-point outing against Montevallo (Mar 22) in the Elite Eight, hitting a big three-pointer in the first half to help the Mules advance to the Final Four.
At Meramec: The team captain and a first-team all-region selection, Wollbrinck led Meramec to conference championships in each of the past two seasons. He was also a first-team all conference selection for head coach Randy Albrecht, taking third in the national tournament as a freshman. Last season, he helped the Magic make an appearance in the regional title game while averaging 12.3 points, five rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
In High School: Lettered four years for head coach Bill Moyer at Francis Howell North High School... A three-year starter, he was an all-conference and all-district selection as both a junior and a senior... Also was an all-conference selection in both football and track.
Personal: Political Science major with a 3.06 grade point average... born October 2, 1985 ... son of David and Barbara Wollbrinck.
