(L-R: Hazel Cox, Carrie Twellman, and Kelsi Ginavan)
Jennies First-Team selections on the 2007 All-MIAA Squad

Lewis Theobald is named Brine®Co-Coach of the Year in the MIAA
The Central Missouri soccer team won their first MIAA title in school history this season and today the Jennies were rewarded for their efforts with seven players earning All-MIAA accolades. In addition, first-year head coach Lewis Theobald was named Co-Coach of the Year.
Juniors Hazel Cox and Carrie Twellman were named First-Team All-MIAA for the third consecutive season. Joining Cox and Twellman on the first team was senior defender Kelsi Ginavan. This was Ginavan’s first selection to the first team after earning second-team honors the past three seasons.
UCM had three second team selections in senior goalkeeper Liz Casey, sophomore defender Kylee Schuhler and sophomore midfielder Angela Dobbie. The Jennies also had one player earn Honorable Mention accolades in sophomore forward Melanie Hall.
Cox and Hall finished the season tied for the team lead with six goals apiece and the two combined to score five game-winners. Twellman and Dobbie had nine and four points, respectively, while Casey, Ginavan and Schuhler anchored a defense that allowed just 15 goals all season and posted 10 shutouts.
