Jennies place two on Daktronics All-Region Squad

The Jennies have placed two players on the Daktronics South Central All-Region team as voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Senior defender Randi Fernsler was a first team selection, while sophomore goalkeeper Lauren Bamvakais was named to the all-region second team.

Fernsler has one goal and one assist on the season, both coming on game-winning goals. She has helped anchor a Jennies defense that has allowed 0.60 goals per game and tied a school record with 12 shutouts. Bamvakais has a goals against average of 0.55, made 64 saves on the year and recorded 12 shutouts. This is the first selection for both players.

The only other MIAA player on the first team was Washburn defender Lisa Fahey, while Jessica Mainz of Washburn and Jessica Wiegert and Katie Reuck of Truman were named to the second team. The South Central All-Region team is as follows:
