Kayla Jupp, pictured in action earlier this season, netted the goal for the Jennies in regulation play on Sunday.

Jennies see their season end Sunday when they were outscored 7-6 in a shootout and dropped a second round match to host Minnesota State-Mankato in the NCAA-II Central Regional. Kayla Jupp scored a goal in the first half to give the Jennies the early lead in Mankato, Minn., but the host squad tied the match late in the second half to set the stage for sudden death overtime, and the eventual dramatic shootout. Jennies open NCAA-II Post-Season
with a second half comeback victory

Erin Hainey (7), pictured in action earlier this season, picked a great time to score her first goal of the season as she netted the game winner for UCM on Friday.

The Jennies scored a pair of second-half goals Friday to post a 2-1 victory over the University of Mary in an opening round match of the NCAA-II Central Regional in Mankato, Minnesota. Erin Hainey scored the game winner with just under two minutes to play in regulation, giving the Jennies their first ever NCAA-II Championship victory. Angela Dobbie scored early in the second half for UCM as the Jennies started their comeback from a 1-0 halftime deficit. Match Recap »


Lewis Theobald is Co-Coach of the Year / Jennies have seven named to the All-MIAA Squad

Lewis Theobald has been named the Brine® Co-Coach of the Year in the MIAA after guiding the Jennies to a share of their first regular season conference championship. Theobald helped lead the Jennies to a 12-4-3 regular season record in his first year as head coach with UCM.

Jennies had seven player representatives on the All-MIAA Soccer Team announced on Monday, November 5th. Hazel Cox and Carrie Twellman are first-team picks for the third consecutive year, while Kelsi Ginavan was also a first-team selection. Jennies had three second-team selections by the league coaches in Elizabeth Casey, Kylee Schuhler, and Angela Dobbie, while Melanie Hall was an Honorable Mention pick. Jennies Claim MIAA Regular Season Co-Championship

Hazel Cox (30) and Lindsay Hoerl (10) celebrate the goal by Cox that sealed a 1-0 overtime victory over Truman State on Saturday night, October 27th, at the South Recreation Complex. The win gave the Jennies a share of their first MIAA regular season championship and home field for the first ever conference post-season tournament this Saturday and Sunday. Jennies Recap »
