Jennies finished the 2002 season with a record of
12-8
overall, and 8-4 in the MIAA, in a season that also included play for the
first time at the new soccer field at the
South Recreation Complex.
The Jennies used a strong finish, five wins in their last six matches, to
grab second place in the MIAA...Final

Melissa Layton (left) and Katie Smith (right) are 2nd-Team selections to
the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's Division II All-Central
Region Team...More

Layton and Smith were among six Jennies players to earn All-MIAA
recognition for the 2002 season. Both were 1st-Team selections, along
with junior Teleshia Joseph. Smith was a first-team all-league
performer for a third consecutive year. Second-team pick from the Jennies is junior April Reyes, and receiving
honorable mention from Central: senior Jessica Goedeker and freshman Liz
Pierson.
