CMSU Jennies soccer team earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) - The Central Missouri State University Jennies soccer team was honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America recently, as the Jens received an NSCAA Team Academic Award for maintaining a team grade-point average of 3.00 or better.

Central, under the direction of head coach Geoff VanDeusen, boasted an overall team GPA of 3.17 last year. Central and Missouri-Rolla were the only two teams in the MIAA to receive the NSCAA Team Academic Award.

A total of 264 women’s teams from all colleges in the United States (NAIA, as well as NCAA Divisions I, II, and III) were honored.
