Jennies Soccer signs seven

Seven student-athletes signed letters of intent to play for the Central Missouri State University soccer team next fall. Head coach Geoff VanDeusen will add three defenders, three midfielders and one forward to the squad. The signees include three players from the state championship KCFC Alliance (Kansas City, Kan.) and four athletes from the St. Louis Arsenal, who have been to the state title game the past three years, winning it all in 2002.

“All seven players bring experience from a winning background,” VanDeusen said. “That bodes well for the future of our program.”

With the addition of this year’s class, the Jennies have brought 19 new student-athletes to the program in the past two seasons.

“This year’s talented class will strongly compliment the group we brought in last year” VanDeusen said.
