Elizabeth Valenti will begin her first year as a graduate assistant with the Central Missouri coaching staff.

She comes to the Jennies from the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Club where she was a coach and helped with the operations of the club.

“Elizabeth is an ideal fit for our program,” Head Coach Lewis Theobald said. “She comes from a similar background as most of our kids, has played at a high level and can relate to our players easily. She has a good eye for the game and will be good for me to share ideas with.”

Valenti was a student-athlete at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville where she earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise and wellness.While at SIUE, Valenti was a two-time captain and named Most Distinguished Leader. She was also honored with many other awards including NSCAA Scholar All-Region, NSCAA All-American, all-conference, all-region and Daktronics All-American.

The Overland Park, Kan. native will be working towards her master’s degree in health and sport science from the University of Central Missouri.
