Coach Theobald on Landri Schmitt: “An explosive striker that brings a wonderful physical presence. I expect Landri to be one of the elite strikers in the MIAA.”
As a Sophomore: Ranked third on the team with five goals and earned honorable mention All-MIAA accolades... started the season on fire, scoring four goals and dishing out two assists in the first six games... her goal against Missouri Western was the game winner... also ranked fourth on the squad with 35 shots. As a Freshman: Played in 19 games with three goals and five assists. Picked up her first collegiate assist against Minnesota-Crookston (Sept. 2). Scored her first collegiate goal against Southwest Minnesota (Sept. 4). For her efforts she was selected to the All-MIAA Honorable Mention. In High School: Earned first-team All-Sunflower League as a junior and second-team honors as a sophomore and senior for head coach Terry Hair at Olathe East ... she also grabbed All-Johnson County as a junior, first-team all-city accolades as a senior and was a member of the Kansas all-star team ... helped Olathe East to a state title in 2004 ...
