As a Freshman: Played all 20 games, starting 18 in the central midfield... tallied two goals and three assists while taking 26 shots... scored a big game-winner in a 1-0 game against Truman State that helped the Jens get into the NCAA Tournament... also tallied a goal and an assist against Missouri Western in the regular season finale. In High School: Hoerl lettered four years at Blue Valley West for coach Alex Aiman … helped lead her team to the Eastern Kansas League Regional championship and a state runner-up finish as a senior … helped BVW to a state championship in 2005 … she was named first-team All-Sun, second team All-EKL, and second team All-State as a senior … earned second team honors All-EKL and was an honorable mention selection to the All-State team helping her squad to a state championship as a junior … finished her career as the second highest scorer in school history … she was a member of the Kansas Olympic Development Program State team from 2001-2004 … Hoerl was also named an EKL Honor scholar for her work in the classroom … member of KCPC Alliance Pumas which won six consecutive state championships from 2000-05.
