Coach Anderson on Abby Dickson: “Abby has really worked hard this year and I’ve seen some big improvements in her game. I would like to see her continue to improve her confidence because a confident Abby is a much better player. She’s gotten faster and she could see time at any of the outfield positions.”
As a Freshman: Hit .169 in 35 games ... had two doubles and one triple with two RBI.
In High School: Was a four-year letter winnter ... was an all-conference, all-district, all-region, all-metro and all-state selection for head coach Jeff Davis ... named County female athlete of the year ... also lettered in basketball, soccer and track.
Personal: Dickson is majoring in Elementary Education. Her parents are Mark and Donna Dickson. She was born on January 25, 1989.
