Coach Anderson on Andrea Walter: “Dre works extremely hard and is a good team player. She must continue to develop and grow as a catcher. She has improved on being vocal behind the plate.”
As a Freshman: Appeared in four games ... had three hits in six plate appearances.
In High School: Walter lettered in softball all four years for coach Stan Baldwin. She was a three time all-district, allconference, and was named all-regional for two years and all-state honors. She was a member of four conference championships and two district championship two teams. She earned four letters in basketball and one in track. She was all-conference for two years and all-district one season.
Personal: Walter is undecided on a major. Her parents are Mark and Karen Walter. She was born June 24, 1987.
