Coach Anderson on Tarese Myers: “Tarese has made a great transition into the outfield. This fall she played with a lot more confidence and it was evident by her better performance. She is one of our most consistent players offensively and defensively.
As a Freshman: Saw action in 34 games, starting 28 ... drove in eight runs.
In High School: she lettered in softball, basketball and soccer at Richland High School ... she was an all-conference and all-district selection for four years and was all-regional for three years ... she earned all-state as a sophomore at shortstop and as a senior at pitcher ... Myers was a member of three conference championships and four district championship teams ... She lettered in basketball for three seasons earning all-conference honors three times and was named to the all-district team as well.
Personal: Myers is majoring in Business Management . . . daughter of Mac and Beth Myers . . . born on April 30, 1988.
