Carlson claims Heptathlon at Angelo State

The Mules and Jennies Track and Field teams competed at the Angelo State Multi Events in San Angelo, Texas over the weekend. Jennies’ junior Anne Carlson won the women’s heptathlon and was one of six Jennies to place in the top 10.
Carlson won the event with 4,860 points. Jenna Schmidt finished in fourth place with a point total of 4,417, followed by Haley Morrissey (6th), Erin Aiken (7th), Leah Bateman (8th), Leslie Stansbrough (10th) and Trisha Jenkins (14th).
The lone competitor in the decathlon for the Mules was Alex Lohman who came home with a seventh place finish and a point total of 3,415.
