Jaban Moore is Academic All-American
Central Missouri Mules junior thrower Jaban Moore, who received ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American honors for the track and field squad.
Moore was the MIAA indoor and outdoor champion in the shot put while earning All-American honors with a seventh place finish in the hammer throw (186-10) this season. He helped the Mules finish 14th in the nation with that performance.
He garnered a 3.43 undergraduate grade-point average in physical education while he currently has a perfect 4.00 GPA in graduate school.
Moore has earned All-MIAA honors six times during his career at UCM. The Kansas City, Mo. native is a graduate of Raytown South High School.
