UCM gets three automatic marks and four provisionals at Indoor Classic

The University of Central Missouri track team picked up three automatic qualifying marks and four provisional marks to the NCAA indoor nationals at the Central Missouri Classic on Friday.
Jaban Moore led the way for the Mules by picking up an automatic qualifying mark in the shot put (59-02.25) to place first and also earned a provisional mark in the weight throw (58-02) by finishing second. Drew Frizzell took first and broke his own school record in the weight throw (66-07) to qualify automatically for nationals. Frizzell now has the top throw in the nation in Division II.
The Jennies were led by Jenna Schmidt, who won the high jump (5-08.75) and automatically qualified for nationals. Three other Jennies provisionally qualified on Friday with Anne Carlson taking first in the long jump (18-10.50), Brittanie Roldan coming in second in the 60-meter hurdles (9.00), and Kayla Muyskens winning the shot put (43-09.75).
