Honors at UCM:

In 2007: As a junior, earned All-American honors by finishing seventh in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoors...Conference champ in the weight throw (60-00.25) at the MIAA Indoor Championships...In Outdoor, earned All-American honors for the third straight year by finishing second in the hammer (209-3)...Also conference champion in the hammer (200-03) and finished seventh in the discus at the MIAA Outdoor Championships.

In 2006: As a sophomore, earned All-American status for finishing fifth in the nation in the indoor weight throw... also took third in the conference in that event... outdoors, he was the conference champ in tha hammer and took 5th in the discus before finishing third in the nation in the hammer.

In 2005: Took fourth in the Outdoor National Championships in the hammer (193-08) and second in the weight throw at the Indoor MIAA Championships (57-11).

In High School: Competed in track at Blair Oaks High School .. earned All-State honors in discus during 2001 and 2002 ... added an allconference and all-district in shot put in 2001.

Personal: Majoring in Sports Marketing ... born June 3, 1984 ... son of Steve and Christy Raithel.
