Jennies go 2-0 on Northwest Swing in MIAA
Rachel Fister had a pair of double-double performances to lead the Jennies attack
The No. 5 Central Missouri volleyball team improved to 18-1 on the season with two MIAA conference road wins at Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri, cruising to their 13th and 14th consecutive match victories in the process.
Central Missouri was led with 14 kills by Jillian Ohrman against Western to win 3-0 (30-18, 30-12, 30-24). Rachel Fister recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs in the contest. Amber Yoder chipped in 11 kills. Caitlin Pankratz registered a game high 43 assists. Audrey Jensen led the Jennies in digs with 15, while Carrie Peterson had 10.
On Saturday the Jennies blanked Northwest Missouri 3-0 (30-23, 30-22, 30-23). Fister registered another double-double game with 15 kills and 11 digs to give her three double-doubles on the year. Orhman also had 15 kills for the Jens, while Yoder had 11. Pankratz once again led in assists with 44. Jensen registered a game-high 19 digs.
