Ohrman named All-Region

Jillian Ohrman (14) is named to the Daktronics All-South Central Regional team for the second consecutive year.


The University of Central Missouri volleyball squad, after making it to the NCAA Regional for the 25th consecutive season, had one of its members named to the Daktronics All-South Central Regional Volleyball team. Senior middle hitter Jillian Ohrman (Independence, Mo.) earned first-team honors for the second straight year.

Ohrman has helped the Jens go 30-6 this season heading into the NCAA South Central Regional this Thursday. Ohrman, in her second season with the Jennies, has garnered nearly every honor she could in her career.  She was named first team All-MIAA earlier in the week for the second straight season. She led the team in kills (478), hitting percentage (.381), blocks (152) and points (588.5). She also ranked among league leaders in all those categories including first in hitting percentage.
