Jennies open MIAA with win over ESU Hornets

Amber Yoder had 17 kills to pace the Jennies attack in their MIAA opener
Jennies volleyball had to come from behind to drop Emporia State University in the MIAA conference opener, 3-1, on Tuesday evening in Emporia, Kansas.
Central Missouri (8-1, 1-0 MIAA) lost game one to the Hornets (6-3, 0-1 MIAA) 21-30, but bounced back to win three games in a row for the match win (30-22, 30-13, 30-24).
The Jens were led by 17 kills from senior Amber Yoder. Jillian Ohrman chipped in 12 kills and Andrea Robertson had a double-double with 11 kills and 15 digs. Caitlin Pankratz continues to lead the Jennies in assists on the season registering her second best mark of 47 in the contest.
Audrey Jensen turned in a season high 36 digs in the match. Freshman Rachel Fister had 15 digs while Carrie Peterson chipped in 10.
