Jennies Claim Bentley Title

Audrey Jensen was named the MVP of the Bentley Invitational
The seventh ranked Central Missouri volleyball squad (13-1) claimed the Bentley Invitational in Boston, Massachusetts this weekend by knocking off Bryant University, host Bentley, New Haven, and C.W. Post. The Jens only dropped one game the entire weekend.
The Jennies opened up competition on Friday with a win over Bryant University 3-0 (30-13, 30-26, 30-22). Central Missouri was led with 13 kills by senior Jillian Ohrman. Amber Yoder also chipped in 11 kills for UCM. Caitlin Pankratz registered 35 assists in the match. Carrie Peterson led the Jennies with nine digs.
Central Missouri faced the host Bentley University in game two on Friday. The Jens took the match 3-0 (30-16, 30-17, 30-18). Ohrman led the way again in kills with 13, while Yoder had 11. Audrey Jensen continued her success on defense and registered 18 digs. Pankratz had 42 assists to go along with five digs.
The Jennies opened play Saturday with a 3-1 victory over New Haven (30-23, 26-30, 30-18, 30-23). Freshman Rachel Fister registered a double-double in the contest with 12 kills and 11 digs. Pankratz also registered a double-double for the Jens with 45 assists and 12 digs. Yoder had 17 kills and Ohrman had 12. Jensen led UCM in digs once again with 19.
Central Missouri wrapped up the Bentley Invitational with a 3-0 win over C.W. Post (30-20, 30-8, 30-13). Yoder registered her second game high of the weekend with 15 kills. Fister had 12 digs to go along with her eight kills. Pankratz led the way again in assists with 37. Jensen had 14 digs while Peterson added 10.
Seniors Audrey Jensen and Amber Yoder were named to the Bentley Invitational All-Tournament Team this weekend. Jensen also garnered MVP honors for the tournament. On the weekend, Jensen had a total of 60 digs from her libero position while Yoder registered four double-figure matches in kills.
