Coach Piontek says: “Allie’s role as a freshman changed from her first day in camp through the end of the year and she handled it well. We expect her to continue to grow into that position this fall.”

As a Freshman: An honorable mention All-American, she was the South Central Region and MIAA Freshman of the Year... Also grabbed first-team all-region and second-team All-MIAA honors at outside hitter.. .Led the team in kills and ranked second in points... In conference only matches she led the MIAA in kills (3.68 kps) and was second in points (3.96 pps)... Named to the NCAA South Central Regional and PSU Classic All-Tournament Teams... Had a team-high 33 double-figure matches in kills, with 15 double-figure matches in digs and 13 doubledouble’s in kills-digs...Was an Academic All-MIAA pick because of her play and work in the classroom... Earned MIAA Academic Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.

In High School: Afour-year varsity player for head coach Mark Rice at Lee’s Summit West High School... Named the Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year for 2007 after taking her squad to a state title... Also earned first team all-state honors as a senior... She was a three-time first team all-conference and all-district selection as well during her career... Competed in the Mo-Kan All-Star Match and the Missouri All-State All-Star Match.

Personal: Undecided on a major with a 3.76 GPA … Born April 20, 1990 … Daughter of Keith and Deanna Huffman.
