As a Junior: Named the Jennies Best Defensive Player and moved up to third all-time at UCM with 1,638 career digs after playing a squad-high 134 games at outside hitter ... ranked second on the team in digs with 565... had 12 consecutive games with double figure digs... also had nine 20+ dig matches and one double-double (digs and kills)... had 31 double-figure dig matches overall... also earned MIAA Commisioner’s Academic Honor Roll. As a Sophomore: Earned All-South Central Region Tournament team honors for her play in the NCAA Tournament... ranked second on the team in digs with 558, playing both outside hitter and libero... had 21 consecutive games with double figure digs (most on team)... also had nine 20+ dig matches and three double-doubles (all digs and kills)... had 31 double-figure dig matches... earned the team’s co-defensive player of the year honors... also earned Commisioner’s Academic Honor Roll at the end of the season. As a Freshman: She earned AVCA South Central Region Freshman of the Year and honorable mention All-MIAA honors ... finished the season ranked No. 2 on the team in digs (515) and fourth in kills (277), assists (57), and blocks (57) ... her 515 digs put her in fifth place in MIAA rankings ... she had double-digit kills 12 times and digs 27 times, and had nine double-doubles ... she also had eight matches with 20 or more digs ... her season-high in kills came vs. St. Edward’s (Sept. 3) when she put down 16 ... she also had 20 digs, three block assists, and a service ace for a season-best 18.5 points .... at Emporia State (Sept. 30) she had 14 kills against no errors in 33 attempts (a season-high .424 hitting percentage) with 20 digs ... her season-high in digs was 28 vs. Washburn (Nov. 11) In High School: A graduate of William Chrisman High School, she earned four letters in volleyball ... earned all-conference and all-district honors all four years, and added honorable mention all-state accolades as a junior and senior ... also played in the Mo-Kan All-Star Game in 2003 ... added three letters in basketball and two more in soccer. Personal: Commercial Art major with a 3.01 grade-point average ... born August 17, 1985 ... daughter of Kimberly Wand.
