As a Sophomore: An honorable mention All-MIAA selection for the second consecutive year, she was third on the team with 338 kills... She had two matches with double doubles, both in kills and digs... set a personal high with 24 kills against Rockhurst on October 10 and added a 23 kill performance against Pittsburg State on August 25... ranked third on the squad double-figure kill matches with 16... hit a season-high .483 against William Jewell on August 26... logged her first career 20 dig match against Missouri St. Louis on September 15... She also earned Academic All-MIAA honors and MIAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll accolades for her work on the court and in the classroom. As a Freshman: An honorable mention All-MIAA pick, she was second on the team with 450 kills... she also led the team in total attacks (1151) while ranking third in hitting percentage (.249)... She had three matches with double doubles, all in kills and digs... had a personal best 21 kills against Washburn on October 25... ranked third on the squad double-figure kill matches with 26... hit a season-high .625 in the 3-0 upset top-ranked Truman on October 12 in Warrensburg. She also earned Academic All-MIAA honors for work on the court and in the classroom. In High School: Played for coach Jerri Wadsworth at Bishop Kelley High School where she enjoyed two state titles, one runner-up and a third place finish during her career … she made the 5A state all-tournament team as a junior and senior and was a member of the all-state team in her senior campaign. Personal: Photography major with a 3.72 GPA… born January 1, 1987 … daughter of Keith and Debra Butler.
