Coach Martin on Jacquelyn Williams: “Hardest working middle blocker makes her the best blocker on the team.  Reads better than any front row player that I have coached.  Very intelligent player that is improving offensively.”

As a Sophomore: Had a breakout season, leading the squad and ranking first in the MIAA in total blocks at 164... Had six matches with double-figure kills and set a career high against Northwest Missouri on October 21 with 15 kills and a .652 hitting percentage... Against Regis on September 1, had a career-high 10 blocks... Also earned MIAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.

As a Freshman: Saw action in 27 matches and 74 games as a true freshman... had 14 kills against Abilene Christian on Sept. 3... also had six blocks on two different occasions... hit a solid .467 against Metro State on Aug. 26 with seven kills on 15 attempts... racked up 49 blocks on the season to rank in a tie for third on the team.

In High School: Helped lead Bishop Miege High School to three straight state titles as a sophomore, junior and senior … for her efforts she earned first-team All-EKL and All-Sun Country, as well as all-state accolades as a senior for coach Gwenn Pike … she was also a member of the Kansas side in the annual Mo-Kan All Star Game.

Personal:  Public relations major with a 3.55 grade-point average… born November 24, 1986 … daughter of Steve and Courtney Williams.
