Jeremy Hudson earns All-American Honors
at National Tournament

Jeremy Hudson placed eighth to earn All-American at the NCAA-II championships

Mules senior Jeremy Hudson closed out his college career with an eighth place finish at the 2008 NCAA-II National Tournament at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Hudson was defeated by Keeno Griffin of Newberry (S.C.) College, 11-1 in the seventh place match.

Hudson lost 3-1 in sudden victory to Hiram Smith of the University of Findlay in the consolation quarterfinals knocking him down into the seventh place match. Hudson closes out his senior season with a 30-18 record.

Hudson is the 54th All-American in Central Missouri history and the 27th All-American under head coach Robin Ersland.

In his 13 seasons at UCM, Ersland has coached 67 national qualifiers, 27 All-Americans and has been named Midwest Region Coach of the Year four times, including this season.
