Mules go 1-2 at Dual Jamboree

Cody Beck was the only Mules wrestler to win two matches

The Central Missouri wrestling squad went 1-2 at the UCM dual jamboree on Saturday afternoon at Garrison Gym. The Mules – ranked 20th in the latest D-II poll – won their opening round dual 19-12 over Northern State. UCM fell to 19th-ranked Wisconsin-Parkside 24-13 in round two and finished up the afternoon with a 42-0 setback to the number one team in the country, Minnesota State-Mankato. Freshman Cody Beck went 2-1 on the day to lead the Mules. Beck’s only loss was a 5-2 decision to the number two ranked wrestler, Brady Wilson of Minnesota State. The Mules dual results follow.
