Mules win one of three duals at NWCA Event
The Central Missouri Mules wrestling squad went 1-2 over the weekend at the prestigious NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Mules dual record now stands at 2-2.
The Mules fell to No. 5 seed Pitt-Johnstown 37-7 in the first round. UCM responded in the first round wrestlebacks with a 25-12 win over Chadron State. The Mules were eliminated from the tournament in the next round by virtue of a 25-16 defeat at the hands of Upper Iowa University.
Cody Beck went 3-0 to lead the Mules, while Jesse Sheets finished the tournament 2-0.
