Mules crown one champion at FHSU Open

Grant Baker was the champion at 133 pounds
The 20th-ranked Central Missouri Mules wrestlers crowned one champion and two other place winners at the Fort Hays State – Bob Smith Open on Saturday.
Senior Grant Baker, the No. 3 seed, won the title at 133 pounds with a 12-10 sudden victory win over No. 1 seed at third-ranked Tim Elliott of Central Oklahoma. Baker also defeated the No. 2 seed Isaac Wall of Newman University in the semifinals.
Other Mules placers included junior Byron Clark, fourth at 125 pounds and junior Cory Bloodgood, who finished fourth at 141. Clark was knocked out of the winner’s bracket by Tommy Edgmon of Fort Hays State 3-2 in the semifinals, while Bloodgood fell 3-1 to third-ranked Colby Robinson of Central Oklahoma in the quarterfinals.
