As a Junior: UCM’s starter at 174 pounds for the third straight year...went 23-15...11-7 in duals...had a fifth place finish at NCAA regionals...finished third on the team with 51 takedowns. As a Sophomore: Was the Mules starter at 174 pounds for the second straight year . . . he went 16-20, 4-9 in duals . . . earned All-American status with an eighth place finish at nationals and a fourth place showing at regionals . . . was tied for third on the team in takedowns with 45 . . . tied for first in major decisions with four and two-point near falls with 10. As a Freshman: UCM’s starter at 174 pounds, he went 8-16, 4-8 in duals ... he had six reversals on the year, fifth best on the team ... redshirted in 2003-04, posting a 2-6 record wrestling unattached, but owned a 2-1 nearfall advantage. In High School: A three-year letterwinner for head coach Ethan Hauck at Lee’s Summit High School ... earned all-conference honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior, and finished second at the Missouri State Championships as a senior.
