As a Sophomore: Went 20-17 overall and 8-7 in duals . . . was second on the team in wins with 20 . . . third on the team in points with 57.5 . . . second on the squad in reversals (16) . . . tied for fourth with nine two-point near falls . . . third in three-point near falls with 10 . . . tied for the team lead in riding time with six. As a Freshman: Went 8-12 overall and 3-1 in duals at 174 ... also saw time at 184 ... recorded one fall on the season. In High School: Lettered three years and was an all-conference, all-district, and state qualifier at Raymore-Peculiar High ... team finished second in the state in 2004, led by coach and dad, Paul Barbarick, a former UCM wrestler ... was also an all-conference and all-state football player in 2003.
