Mules grapplers to host Central Missouri Open
The 2007-2008 Central Missouri Mules wrestling team will open their season this Sunday, November 11 when they host the Central Missouri Open at the Multipurpose Building. The tournament begins at 10 a.m.
The Mules will host teams from across the Midwest including Division I schools such as Missouri, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Stanford.
UCM returns eight letterwinners from last year’s squad that went 9-10 in dual meets and finished 28th at the NCAA National Tournament. It was the first time in nine years that the Mules finished outside the Top 20. The Mules top returners include National Qualifier Jeremy Hudson and 2006 All-American Jesse Sheets.
