Mules and Jennies host annual Mule Run to open 2007 season

Adam Akers and Sandy Davidson led UCM runners with third place individual finishes
The Central Missouri Mules and Jennies kicked off the cross country season on Friday night with the annual Mule Run at Pertle Springs. The men grabbed third overall while the women ran to a second place finish in the event.
The Mules had a third place finish overall (90 points) while Adam Akers paced the team in third individually at 20:35.20 (four-mile run). Dennis Hill also grabbed a top 10 finish, taking sixth with a time of 21:07.50. Southwest Baptist won the title with 61 points. Men's Results
The Jens were led by Sandy Davidson (15:24.00) and Gina Kennison (15:37.60), who finished third and fifth, respectively in the 5K event. They had a total of 60 points with their top five team runners finishing in the top 20. Southwest Baptist took the title with a 53 point total. Women's Results
