Cross Country
The Mules will have one representative advancing to the NCAA-II Championships with Laban Sialo finishing third Saturday at the NCAA-II South Central Regional in Abilene, Texas. The D-II Championships will be contested on Saturday, Nov. 21st, in Evansville, Indiana.
Mules finished eighth in the men's regional race, with the Jennies placing ninth in the women's competition.

Mules and Jennies took part in the MIAA Championships on Saturday, Oct. 24th, in Emporia, Kansas. The Mules finished fourth in the men's competition while the Jennies placed sixth in the women's meet.

Laban Sialo (pictured above) was the Freshman of the Year after leading the Mules with a second place individual finish. Dalton Moberly and Brett Carter earned honorable mention All-MIAA by placing 13th and 18th respectively.
Brooke Buerky was the only Jennies runner to earn All-Conference, finishing 20th to lead the Jennies and pick up honorable mention honors.

The Mules topped the men's 12-team field at the annual Mule Run on Friday, Sept.11th, to successfully open their 2009 season. at Pertle Springs Park. Laban Sialo was the individual champion to lead the way, but the Mules also used depth for team points with three runners in the top ten, and five in the top 12. Men's Results »
On the women's side, the Jennies were runner-up to Pittsburg State in the eight-team field. Carrie Roberts placed fourth to lead the Jennies effort, with three UCM runners placing in the top ten. Women's Results »

Mules ranked 4th, Jennies 5th, in MIAA Preseason Poll
