Dr. Jessica Cannon is from the Department of History and Anthropology was awarded $3,500 for research travel examinging the blendingof domestic and international cultures in mid-nineteenth century Maryland.
Dr. Tina Quartaroli is from the Department of Communication and Sociology and was awarded a $9,000 grant to study the female experience in the retirement community focusing on in-migration.
