The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Certified Manufacturing Technologist (SME CMFgT) exam assesses the knowledge and skills of candidates at the end of their major field.
Registration is limited to students enrolled in ICAP 4110 Industrial Problem Solving. Advanced registration is required through Testing Services Office.
What TO bring to the CMFgT Test Room:
Official photo ID bearing candidate’s signature
Notes and text books permitted
Light jacket or sweater as room temperature may vary
What NOT to bring to the CMFgT Test Room:
To protect the integrity of test scores
Electronic devices, especially cell phones, are sophisticated technological devices that are easily used for cheating. Academic dishonesty seriously affects the integrity of your test scores.
Consequences for academic dishonesty are a serious matter.
A candidate who chooses to engage in academic dishonesty, to include but not limited to using any electronic device or allowing any electronic device to sound in the test room, will have his/her test voided and the candidate being dismissed from the test room.
ALL personal belongings (except official photo ID) are to be placed in the designated area below.
Electronic devices (cell phone, pager, alarm watch, PDA, BlackBerry, camera, etc)
Bookbag, purse, tissue
Coat, jacket, sweater, Head covering – ball cap, scarf, hat, head band, etc.
Food, drink, candy, gum, tobacco
The responsibility for items placed in the designated area belongs to the candidate!
Neither the University of Central Missouri nor test companies are responsible for the damage, loss, nor theft of personal items placed in the designated area.
Small items may be placed in a clear plastic bag and note indicating owner’s name and date of birth. Obtain plastic bag and paper from Testing Staff.
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED: To secure your personal items (except clothing) LOCK them in the trunk of your vehicle.
