| Description: |
Recital includes: Two Chopin Etudes, 4 Mazurkas, a Scherzo and Prokofiev Sarcasm, plus one movement of Beethoven 4th Sonata. Currently studying at the Juilliard School, Mr. Chen has won numerous competitions, including the 2011 MTNA National Young Artist Competition (U.S.), the 2011 Pacific International Piano Competition and the prestigious Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition (both in Canada). In addition to these honors, Mr. Chen was selected as one of only 19 musicians to participate in the Taos School of Music’s summer chamber music program and has given solo recitals in North America and Asia. |
