Career Development Certificate program (CDCP)
The Career Development Certificate program (CDCP) is a non-for credit program designed to aid students with their career development and transition to the workforce. The CDCP consists of 7 modules covering the following topics:
- Identifying your Strengths
- Resume and Cover Letter Writing
- Networking
- The Job Search
- Interviewing
- Backpack to Briefcase
- Etiquette Dinner
Upon successful completion of the program, CDCP will appear on student transcripts, indicating to future employers that students are actively working to prepare themselves for the workforce.
CDCP is offered in the Spring and the Fall. Students can enroll through the Banner system. The course number for the program is NC4000, and the fee for the program is $50. This fee includes all course materials and admission to the etiquette dinner.
Designing CDCP was a collaborative effort on the behalf of the Office of Career Services and Delta Epsilon Iota in an attempt to offer a comprehensive program which will give students a strong foundation for a seamless transition from college to career.
